South indian model and Tamil actress and step brother who allegedly resorted to prostitution to tide over a financial crisis was arrested along with her stepbrother on Saturday night. The police suspect that it was her stepfather who worked as her pimp. The stepfather was said to be absconding.
Tamil Actress and model's resident of Saidapet in Chennai, has been a model in many advertisements of diamond and textile companies. The police said she took to prostitution because of a delay in the release of three of her in Tamil Movies . Actress's stepfather, Ranjeeth Mariyath Asan, who is a model photographer, allegedly helped her get clients along with her stepbrother M Rajkumar, who worked as her manager. Actress Caroline Mariyath, a 22-year-old Tamil film actress from Chennai, was arrested from a five-star hotel by the Social Security Cell of the Crime Branch.
