Rimi Tomy is a playback singer in Malayalam and Tamil. Her debut was in the film Meesa Madhavan, directed by Lal Jose. Her first Song was 'Chingamasam VannuChernnal'.
Shah Rukh Khan listens attentively. “You must be wondering how such a fat person is working in the film industry,” says Rimi. “But I am not an actress. I am just a small singer.” Then she sings the first lines of ‘Tum Paas Aaye’ from ‘Kuck Kuch Hota Hai’.
Rimi is currently busy as an anchor in three popular Malayalam channels. She is anchoring entertainment programmes in Kairali, Mazhavil Manorama and is a judge for a musical reality show aired on Asianet.
