Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth plays a US-returned software systems architect in Sivaji, named Sivaji, with the sole purpose to give something back to the society. He aspires to build a non-charitable trust through which Sivaji wants to set up schools and hospitals for the underprivileged.
And to top it all, you have moments of Super star that you can celebrate with everybody. Be it his trademark walk or the dialogues that he mouths with ease and style or even scenes where he pounds baddies to pulp with one punch may appear cliched, yet entertaining.
Super Star Rajni's Shivaji Movie motive is to spend his Rs 250 Cr for people and charity by setting up educational institutions. But Adiseshan (Suman) the owner of other engineering college group hinders Rajni's attempts. His fear is that he may lose his business if Super Star Rajni free education for people. But Super Star Rajni goes ahead ignoring Adiseshan and starts building the Engineering colleges and hospitals. When the work is amidst and when almost all the amount was spent on that, Adiseshan uses his political influence and demolishes Sivaji’s dream. He brings him on roads. He drops a Re 1 coin in his hand and asks him to live with begging.
